We hit the road and headed south to Hilton Head Island (HHI). And, we're off... In 2019 we spent a couple of nights in Hilton Head on our way to Florida. Next stop, Hilton Head and warmer weather. Our first two nights in HHI were spent at Hilton Head Motorcoach Resort. What a delightful place! Our next stop was to Hilton Head Harbor Marina & RV Resort where we spent three nights.

It's the time of year that we have to get things in order so that we can enjoy the warm months ahead. After getting the branches under control I made a dead hedge in the way back to be backdrop to the sunflower While it was partly cloudy, it was not Hilton Head weather. Making our way home from Hilton Head was an adventure. After departing Hilton Head we had a four hour drive to Lu Mil Vineyard in Elizabethtown North Carolina In addition to the late arrival one of our doggies had a tummy ache and needed to get settled down. Two overnight stays on the journey south to Hilton Head were at Harvest Hosts. Watch the video below to hear the peeper symphony. In the morning, after coffee, showers, and doggie walks we headed toward Newport News after a detour We all had the tour of the distillery given by Bruce Tyler the owner, and then a had tasting. After friendly waves and doggie walks in the morning we departed for the final leg to Hilton Head Island
