We love NH for many reasons, but the biggest reason is the proximity to the sea coast and access to fried clams!
We loaded up the dogs in the van and head out for the day. First up, an enjoyable lunch at Ray's Seafood Restaurant in Rye NH outside on the upper deck and then to Portsmouth for haircuts.
After haircuts at Vanity Hair Salon in Portsmouth, we head back toward Wolfeboro and made a stop in Rochester at the The Governors Inn. We had cocktails and a snack at their Spaulding Steak & Ale.
Shots of the Governor's Inn.
Our friend's parents had wedding photos taken at the "Governor's Inn" when it was a private residence. A photo of that day in 1960 hangs in the Inn today.
A quick overview video of the scenes.
And as always, life is what you make of it. We like to get out and enjoy it as much as possible. At our age, we realize every day is a gift and plan to make the most of each day.
