Starting Daylight Savings with bloodies and brunch.
So many vodkas to choose from at our bar. Today I chose the Luksusowa. We make our own bloody mix using this recipe as a base. However, instead of plain tomato juice I opt for V8 spicy; it is a better base.
I use this recipe for a classic quiche Lorraine. It's named Lorraine after the Lorraine region of France.
We have a local fish market that makes prepared dishes. I picked up their lemon caper halibut for a nice pairing with the classic quiche.
