Our boat is in the water and we've been out a couple of times. We love our lake and being able to get out and enjoy fresh air in abundance and big sky views.
Here's our maiden voyage for the season. Homer is so happy. Whiskey is pretty happy too. This old boat (circa 1929) has new varnish and bottom paint, and floats like a champ!
Our slip is on Back Bay and we need to get out under the Main Street bridge. This bridge has trapped up for weeks due to high water. We are delighted to fit under the bridge mid-June.
Right now we have less than two inches for clearance. But that means we still fit under the bridge!
The boat is a 1929 26' Chris-Craft - and it still floats!
