Ok, back to seafood. If it weren't for the realtor highlighting this fish market I don't think I would have ventured in there. It's tucked off of the road and has zero curb appeal.
Their motto is "Friends don't let friends eat imported shrimp." Amen to that, especially the farmed raised shrimp. We gave up shrimp years ago once we learned about the imported stuff. Yuck!
Here is our seafood fest. Oysters, shrimp, and salmon (not local LOL!). Whiskey shucked and grilled the oysters; the grilling enhances the flavor. We did half of the shrimp on the grill and in the garlic butter on the griddle.
If you haven't noticed, we are having a delightful time away from home. I swear we have gone to beach several times, and rode our bikes. Blogs on beaches coming up soon.
